Bookend

Pricing

Priced per closed loan. Quoted for your bank.

The model is simple and it scales with what you actually close. We don’t publish a rate card because the right number depends on your closing volume, your loan mix and your core — three things a 45-minute conversation settles.

The model

Three components

  1. 01

    Per closed loan

The recurring fee follows the value: each commercial loan Bookend validates and boards, billed quarterly in arrears from the closed-loan count. Counsel-drafted packages for larger loans are a premium tier.

  2. 02

    Annual minimum

A floor regardless of volume, so the platform is supported properly and the price is predictable for your budget cycle.

  3. 03

    Implementation

One-time and part of every deal — Bookend is delivered, not downloaded: discovery, install and network approval, LAR and core field mapping, a parallel run on your historical closings with an accuracy report, training and go-live. Six to ten weeks.

    What the engagement covers

Questions

How is the closed-loan count measured?

From the platform’s own sealed-loan events. A daily heartbeat reports the count, the version and health — no loan data — and the payload is shown verbatim on the Metering screen. Air-gapped installs produce a signed quarterly usage report instead.

What is the Standard versus Premium distinction?

Standard covers packages generated by a documentation system for loans at your qualification threshold. Premium covers counsel-drafted packages on larger loans, which take more extraction and verification work per package.

What does implementation typically involve?

Six to ten weeks: discovery of the closing workflow, document sources and LAR format; install and network approval; jXchange test enablement through VIP; LAR and boarding-field mapping; a parallel run on 20–30 historical closings with an accuracy report; training; go-live with human approval on every loan.

Is there a pilot?

Yes — a paid pilot on your next 20 closings usually follows the Closing Workflow Review.

Can we license the software without the implementation?

No. Bookend sits between your closing packages and your core, and it is only right once it knows your approval record, your core fields, your document set and your credit policy — and once it has been proven on your own historical closings with your audit function in the room. The engagement is how that happens; it is configuration and proof, never a custom build.

Which cores?

Jack Henry first — SilverLake, CIF 20/20 and Core Director through jXchange. File export works with any core today, and additional core adapters are in development. Tell us your core and we will say plainly where it stands.
